You Hurt Me
I bear a terrible secret,
but it helps to tell the truth.
I trusted you my neighbor,
You hurt me in my youth.
That childhood innocence,
for me is long gone.
It's hard forget what you did to me,
but I have learned I must go on.
To live my life as best I can,
a smile upon my face.
How could you be a GODLY man,
and tell me it's my place?
I know you are weak inside,
A sickness now I know.
Many times I begged and pleaded,
but you didn't let me go.
The reprecussions I must live with
all my days and nights on earth.
To satisfy a lustful urge...
is this all that I am worth?
The lives you destroyed
aren't just my own,,
Many others have lived it too.
still effects me now I'm grown,
The scars in my life that you put there,
I live with every day...
But to the alter I take them,
And to Jesus I will pray!
Abuse happens all too often. Please pray for all the children and adults alike, that live in bad situations. Whether it be physical, mental, sexual or emotional abuse.. These all have lasting effects... Situations like this need our prayers daily!!
