In Remembrance of You
Lord, we're often too busy,
with so much to do,
That while we're doing for others
we forget about You!
We forget to say, "Thank You!"
and we seldom say grace,
And the time we spend griping
is just a disgrace.
We don't ask for Your guidance,
so we often get lost,
And the time that we waste
just adds to the cost.
We don't give You the glory
when a job is well done.
We're too self-centered to share
our day in the sun.
Yet, Lord, You still love us
in spite of it all,
And You always forgive us
Whenever we call.
Lord, when we get busy
and there's too much to do,
Please direct our attention
in remembrance of You!
