Summer on the Porch Welcome to my summer porch! My name is Phelicity. I've been an indoor kitty all my life, so summer activities are mostly what I watch, not what I do. Here I am sitting in my chair on the screened porch of our house on the mountain. It was like being in a huge outdoor theater of wildlife! I loved summer cause there was so much to see! Lots of purrty birds fly around in the summer, and some mockingbirds lived in a tree right next to my porch! Once in a while a small bird got into the porch and couldn't get out. My, that was exciting! I won't say how those times turned out, except it wasn't my fault! I nefur caught a bird. I watched squirrels and bunnies running all over, and I could see all sortsa fun creepy crawlies and hoppygrasses down on the ground from my porch, too. There were always lotsa flutterbys. My meowmie called some of them moths and didn't like them, but they looked like flutterbys to me. They taste purrty good, too. It got too hot out on the porch sometimes, though, so I would go inside to cool off! In fact I'm going in to cool off right now. Cooling off is very important fur kitties on hot summer days! So enjoy the summertime, but keep cool!
