December Minutes and Christmas Party

Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011

The night before our party, volunteers Pat Lay, Mary Towey, Maria Ratliff, Donna Rossi, and Shirley Stealey went to the community center to decorate for the party. One who's name will not be mentioned brought a camera, but forgot to take pictures. She also forgot to take pictures at the party. Oh well, there's always next year. We had a good time decorating, and now we're ready to PARTY!!!

Dec. 14, 2011 PARTY TIME

We actually had a short meeting before the party in which David, our president, talked about the Neighborhood Challenge, reminding everyone that we needed at least 25 houses to take part in the challenge. Our Code Ofc. Tommy Pinder gave his regular report. He then gave us the sad news that we are once again losing our NTL Ofc. Derek Cormier. This put a little bit of a damper on things until Maria had her drawing for presents. We then played a "guess what Christmas Carol the cartoon represents" game. Before we ate, David said a prayer, and then we lined up to feast on the delicious food that was set forth on the table. When our tummies were all full, Dale and his son, Alex, entertained us with some music. All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening.

So with the closing of this evening, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you all next year.
