On-going is our "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" project which takes place each month at the meeting. These are donated articles brought by members or visitors and are free for the taking. The only catch is....if the item is still on the table at the end of the meeting, then the person who donated it must take it back home and save it for the next meeting or give it to the Salvation Army or another organization.
Upcoming events....We are partnering with the Westside Baptist Church to start a food bank in our neighborhood. Hopefully, it will be operational in September.
We also kicked off our Community Garden located at 24th and Adams St. in May.
We will have our Cash for Trash clean-up in November.
